Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CE Keepers ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, then you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

CE Keepers is a continuing education tracking platform designed for mental health professionals across New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts. Our Service helps you track professional licenses, continuing education requirements, completed training hours, and maintain compliance with state regulations.

User Accounts

To use our Service, you must:

  • Be a licensed mental health professional or eligible for such licensure
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

  • Upload false, inaccurate, or misleading information about your licenses or CE activities
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or data
  • Use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to the Service
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
  • Use automated tools to access the Service without permission

Professional Responsibility

While CE Keepers assists in tracking your continuing education requirements, you remain solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable professional licensing requirements and regulations. We recommend verifying all information with your licensing board and maintaining independent records of your CE activities.

Subscription and Payment

CE Keepers offers multiple subscription tiers with different features and limitations. By subscribing to a paid plan:

  • You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen subscription tier
  • Payments are processed through secure third-party payment processors
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are provided in accordance with our refund policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Our cancellation and refund policy varies based on your subscription type:

Monthly Subscriptions

  • You may cancel your monthly subscription at any time
  • Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your subscription features through the end of your current billing period
  • Your subscription will not renew for the next billing period
  • No refunds are provided for partial months of service

Annual Subscriptions

  • 7-Day Refund Window: If you cancel your annual subscription within 7 days of being charged (either initial purchase or annual renewal), you will receive a full refund and your access will be terminated immediately
  • After 7 Days: If you cancel your annual subscription after the 7-day refund window, no refund will be provided. However, you will retain access to your subscription features through the end of your current annual billing period
  • Your subscription will not renew for the next annual period

Subscription Upgrades

  • You may upgrade your subscription at any time (e.g., Bronze to Silver, Silver to Gold, or Monthly to Annual)
  • When upgrading, you will be charged a prorated amount based on your current billing cycle
  • Tier upgrades (Bronze → Silver → Gold) provide immediate access to enhanced features
  • Billing cycle conversions (Monthly → Annual) take effect immediately with prorated pricing
  • Subscription downgrades are not supported at this time

Grace Period

After cancellation or subscription expiration, you will have read-only access to your data for 30 days to allow you to download your certificates and records. After 30 days, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted.

Data and Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy , which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CE Keepers and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of any content you upload to the Service.

Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but cannot guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CE Keepers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. CE Keepers makes no warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, you will have a 30-day grace period to download your data before permanent deletion.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of New Jersey.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
